The uvex exxential II LED is a very special type of riding helmet.
For the first time ever, uvex is integrating its passive helmet lighting system in its all-round model to provide additional safety via increased visibility.
The dual-colour LED lights remain invisible during the day and are activated by pressing a button.

The lighting has three modes: constant, flash and pulse. The lights are powered by a plug-in LED unit with a magnetic attachment at the rear of the head.
uvex Exxential II LED also serves as an additional back light and contains the battery indicator. Depending on the mode, the battery lasts for 6 to 12 hours. And as the uvex exxential II LED fulfils both riding helmet and bike helmet standards, it means that riders who ride their bikes to the stables are perfectly protected.
Safe, lightweight and with innovative LED lighting
For all riders, who want to be prepared for rides that might continue in dusk or twilight, the Uvex exxential II LED is the perfect helmet. Its passive lighting system won’t replace a head lamp to light the way ahead, however it significantly enhances rider visibility in darker conditions, increasing overall safety.
A very lightweight inmould helmet (from 450 grams) excels through its ergonomic design and deeper cut section at the back of the head. Its 3D IAS system enables a precision fit. In addition, uvex has improved the ventilation system to help riders keep a cool head.

Smart and rechargeable
Thanks to the innovative magnetic adhesion system, the battery can be easily attached. Depending on use and lighting mode, the battery lasts between 6 and 12 hours.

Tested protection
Anyone who wears a uvex helmet travels on the side of safety. Each of our helmets undergoes rigorous tests in the uvex testing center.

PC inmould – Safety thanks to the strongly bonded PC shell.
Shell construction Hardshell – The helmet has a moulded outer shell and EPS inner shell for a most efficient safety combination: impact resistant on the outside, shock absorbing on the inside.

Shell sizes
Perfect fit = head shape + head circumference. Whether large
or small, rounder or squarer: uvex has the perfect shell size, from 49 to 61 cm, for every head in its range.
ABS hardshell

This complex construction allows for built in air vents and air channels to be perfectly placed for exceptional wearing comfort.
Inmould
The protective EPS is foamed directly into the polycarbonate shell. For a lightweight helmet construction with the highest impact resistance and the perfect fusion of an EPS inner layer and a PC outer layer.
Comfort
Vent system – uvex places the highest value on optimal ventilation: cleverly designed ventilation channels draw fresh air in and expel warm air.
