Made to be super lightweight. After years of testing Horzehoods have found the most effective fabrics on manes and coats are those that consist of light fine weight blends, heavier grams of fabric cost no extra to make, however it is not as effective for keeping the mane and coat the best it possibly can, by using a Full Body in this super light fabric blend you will notice an instant transformation in the horses coat. Heavier fabrics can be more durable to snags and rips but give a chance of causing chaffing and rubs, therefore the Horzehoods team decided the priority was the functionality before enhancing the durability, The seam and stitch work on this fabric has been superbly manufactured.
They have used the exact same colour match and fabric quality as Horzehoods.
About Turnout Use
Horzehoods have been asked frequently if Horzebodies are suitable for turnout use, please be advised they have not tested them in the paddocks, therefore cannot comment nor recommend.
HorzeBodies are not waterproof. Owners are welcome to use them as an under rug under their turnout rugs if they wish; but it will be at owners responsibility and Horzehoods have no guarantee of their use or warranty created on such wear/tear or damage should this arise.
IMPORTANT Horzehoods does not recommend using the body if there is excess length hanging over the rump of your horse, this will cause the body to drag backwards which may cause a pull up on the face, please try on clean before deciding it is a good fit – please make sure you measure correctly to prevent returns
We suggest you wash with a fabric conditioner at 40 degrees.
IMPORTANT – Prior to washing the hood you must make sure that 1) the buckle is fastened securely to avoid being lost 2) the velcro on the chin is strapped securely to avoid the strong Velcro side pulling the material.
