OrganoTex BioCare Wool and Down Wash
BioCare Wool & Down Wash is a gentle detergent for wool and blends, merino wool, mohair, silk, cashmere and down.
It contains lanolin, the natural wool fat, which restores the natural properties of wool and down. It also contains lemon eucalyptus oil which gives a light, fresh scent.
Down garments or down sleeping bags in nylon/ripstop, which are made of shinier materials, are not damaged and retain their shine.
Environmentally friendly features of BioCare Wool and Down Wash:
- Readily biodegradable
- Highly concentrated
- Predominantly bio-based raw materials
- Water based and no volatile organic solvents (VOC)
- Phosphorus free (common in many detergents – contributes to eutrophication).
OrganoTex BioCare Wool and Down Wash Ingredients:
AQUA, POTASSIUM COCOATE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, LAURETH-3, LAURETH-9, PPG-4 LAURETH-5, TETRASODIUM IMINODISUCCINATE, SODIUM POLYASPARTATE, GLYCERIN, PEG-75 LANOLIN, PHENOXYETHANOL, SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE, CITRIC ACID, PARFUM, POTASSIUM HYDROXIDE
Instructions for use:
- Shake bottle well and make sure the detergent compartment is clean.
- Add 25 ml (soft water) or 40 ml (hard water) into the detergent compartment for up to 2–4 kg.
- Do not use fabric softener.
- Wash and dry according to the fabrics or garment´s instructions.
- IF handwashing: use 20 ml per 10 L of warm or cold water. Immerse and allow to soak for a while. Then rinse thoroughly. Gently squeeze out the water without twisting the garment. Also works in cold water.
Shelf life: At least 24 months. Do not allow to freeze.
Recyclable: Bottle (PET) and lid are recyclable and can be sorted as plastic
Contents: 15–30 % soap, 5–15 % non-ionic surfactants, 1–5 % anionic surfactants, <1 % lanolin (wool grease), preservatives (2-phenoxyethanol), perfume (lemon eucalyptus essential oil).
