New label, new sizes, exactly the same product, ingredients and formula:
You will notice some changes to our labelling but dont worry this is exactly the same product that we have been making for years. We have updated the labels to meet labelling regulatory requirements. Meaning we have omitted some labelling elements that are not mandatory and added others that are. We still use the same quality ingredients in the same high concentrations!
Stronghorn is designed to nourish and improve the quality of the horn as well as make it harder making it far better for the feet in the long term.
Customers have reported that they are sick of paint-on hoof hardeners in narrow-based easy to knock over bottles. They have also had concerns that some of the ingredients in hoof-hardeners may actually be detrimental to the structure of their horses feet!

The simple ingredients in Stronghorn have been chosen for their effective toughening properties.

Plant extracts – Plant oils and extracts to cleanse and toughen the horn tissue.
Natural surfactants – To maintain product consistency.
Clean the hoof. Spray product onto the underside of hoof and around any nail clenches, avoiding the frog unless it is very soft. Apply daily until improvement is shown and then phase to weekly applications over time. For best results allow to dry prior to work or turnout.
Reviews of Stronghorn Red Horse Products
Decided to try it on my mare that had an injury in May and now in recovery process.
Noticed that her soles are getting stronger and harder and she is happy staying our barefoot rather then wearing hood boots,

Is Stronghorn easy to apply?
Yes, very 2-4 sprays per foot is all it needs, a little time on a dry surface to allow it to soak in is advised.
Should I use a hoof disinfectant too?
No, Stronghorn is a powerful cleansing agent in it’s own right so there is no need.
How often should I apply Stronghorn?
Daily at first if possible, then the interval between applications can be increased until horses prone to soft soles are having it applied once a week.
Does Stronghorn contain formalin?
No, we don’t believe there is any long term benefit to using formalin on feet so we do not use it in any of our products.
